Emmott Elementary School is located in Cypress Fairbanks ISD and serves the Houston area in northwest Harris County in the 77065 zip code.  The school is named after Mr. and Mrs. Jack Emmott.  It was opened in 1985.  Emmott Elementary is located in the Steeplechase subdivision.  It is situated at the intersection of Steeple Way Dr and Paddock Way.  

About Mr. and Mrs. Jack Emmott

According to the Cypress Fairbanks Independent School District website and the Houston Chronicle, Mr. Jack Emmott was a respected member of the CFISD Board of Trustees for 21 years. He was also named one of the 75th Anniversary Honorees by Cy-Fair ISD. Mrs. Lucile Emmott was dedicated employee to the district for 21 years in the Special Education department. Jack and Lucile married on January 1, 1942. Together they celebrated more than 68 years of marriage at the time of her death in 2010. Jack and Lucile settled in the family compound in Fairbanks known as Emmottville, a 100-acre wood along White Oak Bayou. Jack & Lucile were among the founding families of St. Francis Episcopal Church. Mr. and Mrs. Emmott have five children, Carolyn, Jack III, Charles, Gary, and D. Russell. Jack Emmott passed away at the age of 96 in 2015.
