According to the Cypress Fairbanks Independent School District website and the Houston Chronicle, June and Roy Metcalf together worked in CFISD a total of 65 years as educators and administrators.  Mr, Metcalf was in the first class to graduate from Cypress Fairbanks High School.  Mrs. Metcalf began his career in CFISD as a teacher before becoming a principal and later as assistant superintendent.  Mr. Metcalf went on to retire in 1990.  June and Roy have 4 childrem, Bob, Richard, Ronny, and Carol.  They were married for 57 years before he passed away in 2008.
