About Betty Cody Rennell

According to the Cypress Fairbanks Independent School District website, Betty Cody Rennell dedicated 28 of her 38 years in education to CFISD.  She began her education career in Florida as a kindergarten teacher before moving to CFISD.  Mrs. Rennell started at CFISD at a substitute in 1978, she then started working at Millsap Elementary for 7 years as a teacher before being promoted to assistant principal.   Mrs. Rennell was named principal at Moore Elementary where she was for 8 years before moving to Bang Elementary for 2 years.  She then was promoted to a district administrative level position as assistant superintendent for personnel management/employee relations and as assistant superintendent for human resources until her retirement in December of 2006.  Mrs. Rennell and her husband, Larry, have 2 children, Bryant and Stephanie, who are both graduates of CFISD.
