According to the Cypress Fairbanks Independent School District website, Sandra Bales Walker dedicated 25 years to CFISD as a secretary to the district.  Mrs. Walker served as the principal’s secretary at Jersey Village High School for 8 years before becoming the superintendent’s secretary for 17 years.  Mrs. Walker was able to work for 3 different superintendents during her career.  Mrs. Walker retired in 1997.  Mrs. Walker and her husband, Jesse, have 3 sons, Kevin, Darrekkm and Eugene,  who are graduates of CFISD.
