About Jim and Pam Wells

According to the Cypress Fairbanks Independent School District website, Jim and Pam Wells dedicated together 66 years in education to CFISD.  Mrs, Pam Wells dedicated 33 of her 41 years in education in CFISD.  Mrs, Wells began her teaching career in 1975 at Landrum Middle School in Spring Branch ISD before moving to CFISD in 1979.  Mrs. Wells served as a teacher at Arnold Middle School for 6 years, director of instruction at Cy-Fair High School for 13 years, an assistant to the superintendent for 3 years and an associate superintendent for 13 years at the Instructional Support Center.  Mrs. Wells was interim superintendent from January-June 2004.  Mrs. Wells currently serves as the executive director of the Region 4 Education Service Center.  Mr. Jim Wells also spent 33 of his 37 years in education in CFISD.  Mr. Wells started his teaching career at Spring Woods Junior High School in Spring Branch ISD from 1975-1979.  In 1979,  Mr. Wells moved to CFISD where he was a teacher for 2 years and an assistant principal at Cypress Creek High School for 7 years, Watkins Junior High School for 5 years.  Mr. Wells was then named principal of Thornton Middle School for 10 years and principal at Cypress Creek for 10 years.  Mr, and Mrs. Wells both retired in June 2012.
