About Les and Bettie Moore

According to the Cypress Fairbanks Independent School District website, Les and Bettie Moore were dedicated employees of CFISD for a combined total of 44 years.  Mr. Moore was the first full time guidance counselor for Cy-Fair High School and the first director of guidance for the district.  Mr. Moore is remembered for his leadership in the local teachers’ organization, for his many years of announcing home football games, and for acquiring state accreditation for the district.  Mrs. Moore started her career as an educator with CFISD at Bane Elementary.  While at Bane Elementary she was selected “Teacher of the Year” in 1973.  Mr. and Mrs. Moore both retired in 1977.
