Congressman Bill Archer Dog Park Features
Visitors & their canine companions can enjoy two enclosed parks, one for large (over 20 lbs) and one for small dogs. Each has a large bone-shaped cement pond for swimming. The large dog area includes a .81 mile walking trail loop. The small dog area includes a .29 mile walking trail loop. Both areas have plenty of open space, their own dog playground (“agility course”) and numerous sitting benches (4 of which are covered). While your dog(s) will likely get pretty dirty, you’ll be well advised to bring shampoo and towels to make use of the wash stations located just outside the dog area gates.
Completely separate from the dog park areas, the parking lot is shared by a skate park, including metal ramps, rails, pads and a quarter pipe. The skate park is free to use, but unsupervised.
