Charles W Austin Park
The development of Charles W Austin Park seems to be following the trend of suburban Houston Municipal Utility Districts (MUD) in providing/maintaining recreational areas in and around the area’s ever expanding drainage improvement projects. Harris County MUD No 130 services the Copperbrook subdivision and intends the Charles W Austin Park to serve the dual purpose of alleviating downstream flooding issues (detention pond) and providing a public recreational area.
