Easton Commons Nature Park is a 14 acre park nestled within the master planned community of Copperfield in the northwest Houston area known as Cy-Fair. Within the fenced boundaries of the park, 5 trail loops encircle open green space with numerous amentities. The park was developed by a partnership between the local municipal utililty district and Copperfield.

Zube Park in Hockley Texas is a short drive out US Hwy-290 from Cypress TX. Park visitors enjoy a complex of 6 soccer fields, playground and picnic areas, and a well-maintained hike & bike trail with numerous workout stations. Adjacent to the park is the Houston Area Live Steamers' 6 mile mini railroad where they provide free 15 minute rides to the public every 3rd Saturday of the months March thru November.
Mason Creek Park Hike and Bike Trail, owned by Harris County, in Katy, west of Houston, follows Mason Creek and its eventual release to a pond serving as stormwater detention and a wetland habitat. Visitors come to enjoy the view and surrounding grassy areas and trees along a paved path.

In addition to the natural setting, softball & cricket fields with 2 gated dog parks attract visitors from surrounding NW Houston.
